- How do I join Friends of Children?
- Recruitment is usually conducted at the start of each academic year, during month of August. You’ll need to go through a simple interview based on your choice of programmes before commencement of volunteering.
- Can NIE/PhD students join?
- Yes! You’re more than welcomed to join us and be part of our Friends of Children family.

- What is the level of commitment required?
- Commitment is on a weekly basis at your respective centres and programmes you have chosen.
- What do we do during the sessions?
- There are mainly 2 types of programmes which focuses on different aspects, Academic Coaching and Character building. For details please refer to our About page
- Will the sessions continue during our examinations period?
- We will stop our sessions at least 2 weeks before our examinations and resume after our examinations has ended
- Are the sessions conducted in NTU?
- No, our sessions are conducted at the respective centres around Singapore.
- Are there any activities other than the weekly sessions?
- Yes! Every year we will have 2 annual events, during June and December school holidays where all our beneficiaries will come together for a day of fun through activities planned by our volunteers.
